Privacy
On your device
Your downloads, timer choice and preferences stay on your device.
Anonymous statistics
We count, without any identifier and never linked to you or your device: app opened, app version, platform, language, country (looked up from the IP address, which is not stored), sounds played and downloaded, how many minutes a listening session lasted, which timer and which category were used, the answer to “Slept well?”, which features are used, offer screen viewed and plan chosen or bought, and ads seen, clicked or failed to load. These are daily totals, not a history of any person.
Crash reports
If the app crashes, it can send an anonymous crash report (what failed, the app and phone model, the system version) to Google Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix it, and counts the crash in our statistics. Nothing about your listening, your sleep journal or your account is attached, and you can turn it off in Settings → Crash reports.
Your sleep notes
The sleep journal (the nights you note, how you felt, your sleep window) is stored only on your phone. It is never sent to our servers and never linked to an account. You can copy it out or erase it at any time in the app. Groomhush is not a medical device and gives no medical advice; the notes are your own.
Notifications
The evening and morning nudges are scheduled on your phone from your own habits. They send nothing to us. You choose the times or switch them off in Settings.
Purchases
Handled by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card. To turn Premium on we ask Apple or Google to confirm your purchase; we keep only the plan and its end date.
Accounts
Optional Google or Apple sign-in (coming) only keeps Premium across your devices. You can delete your account in the app; deletion completes within 7 days.
